A punctured leg, fears of infection and just 17 hours sleep over a gruelling six-day GODZone race were never going to stop Marlborough’s Team Tuatara Structures from crossing the finish line.

After more than 150 hours of pushing their bodies to the limit, Marlburians Kieran Hickman, Bek Scherp, Andrew Jones and Glenn Blackmore finally finished in third place at  the GODZone Chapter 7 in Fiordland and the sense of relief and accomplishment was overwhelming.

Tears were shed, hugs were given and some well-earned bottles of bubbles were popped to celebrate the achievement.
