November 13 -15 the 2019 New Zealand Agricultural Show (previously known as the Canterbury A&P Show) was held in Christchurch.

“The [New Zealand Agricultural] Show is hosted by the Canterbury A&P Association, a charity whose aim is to promote the importance of farming, produce and innovation to New Zealand as a whole. The Association’s annual event is one of New Zealand’s oldest A&P Shows and remains a traditional agricultural Show at heart, looking to promote excellence in agriculture, showcase innovation and provide a space for a lot of fun to be had by all.

“Welcoming over 100,000 visitors through the gates”, the Show “brings a touch of tradition to the city and celebrates all that is great about rural life.”

This is an important event on our calendar, with the opportunity to meet locals and introduce them to our business. At this year’s show, we debuted our new trade stand set-up – including an impressive 6m x 6m framed structure.

Because it’s a local event, a number of our team spent time on the stand over the three days. It is important to us that everyone gets a chance to experience these events when able, so the Show is the ideal opportunity for this. We also value the ability to check out what our competitors and suppliers are up to and to forge new relationships.

Overall, we found the three days to be really valuable to our business, and look forward to exhibiting at the New Zealand Agricultural Show again in 2020.
